A Dancer (Graceful in the Movements of Her Limbs)A Dancer (Graceful in the Movements of Her Limbs)Shapes found in nature and the thoughts, emotions, and associations that they bring to me. I often see trees as dancers, graceful in the movements of their limbs, longing for their embrace. This little tree was the highlight of my day once upon a time in Utah.
Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah
In May 2016 I drove 3,400 miles in 3 weeks, photographing Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon NP and Capitol Reef NP. I also made stops in Grand Staircase Escalante National Monunument, Utah; Canyon De Shelly NM, Arizona; the Vermillion Cliffs NM, Arizona; and a few parks in the Navajo Nation-- Monument Valley and the slot canyons around Page, Arizona. This gallery contains images from the Utah portion of that trip as well as a few from a return trip that I made to Zion and Escalante in the fall of 2017. Images from the Arizona and Navajo Nation legs can be seen in the Arizona gallery. Aloha, Lee
