A crown of clouds over high mountain peak greets me along the Route of the Lagunas in the Bolivian Altiplano. The dirt "road" from Laguna Colorada to our camping spot in the city of stone was dotted with shallow lakes reflecting mountains and fluffy clouds. The lakes were so numerous that the names of them all ran together. What was memorable however, was the beauty of each one. This is one of my favorite photographs from the entire trip. Another unexpected image that shines in the pack.
