I Saw the Sky Turn to Fire

I Saw the Sky Turn to Fire

I think it is important to spend time in a singular place, to get a feel for it, to go back to it and in this way build a relationship with the landscape. This was my approach to Schwabachers Landing in Grand Teton National Park. I went several times both early morning and evening. I photographed sunrise, sunset and everything in between. I saw moose, mountains, ducks, coyote, chipmunks, tall grasses, blue herons and hawks. And on this particular session I saw the sky turn to fire.
