Rainy Day in Merced Grove

Dogwoods in mist along the trail to the Merced Grove of Giant Sequoia Trees. Unfortunately, during our visit the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias in Wawona was closed due to road and route renovations. Although we would have liked to have been able to see the Mariposa Grove, the Merced Grove and it's 18 (give or take a few) Giant Sequoia Trees was a fun day out. And on the way back to the valley we ran into a Black Bear at Crane Flat so it was actually a pretty awesome day.
